22 years old MIss Universe 2010 winner Jimena Navarrete Rosete is a Mexican model. She was born on February 22, 1988. She was crowned Nuestra Belleza Jalisco in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on July 16, 2009, and Nuestra Belleza México on September 20, 2009, in Mérida, Yucatán.
Born and raised in Guadalajara, Navarrete studied nutrition prior to her participation in beauty pageants. After winning her state pageant, she competed against thirty-three other contestants in Nuestra Belleza México 2009, where she obtained first place. She is the second consecutive winner from Jalisco, following Karla Carrillo, the outgoing titleholder. Navarrete won the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, the second representative of Mexico to win the title, after Lupita Jones in 1991.
